Which sensors does Consibio provide?


We have lucrative purchasing agreements with a range of sensor manufactures. This way we become a one-stop-shop for cloud based sensor solutions. Our specialty is sensors used in environmental monitoring and research, like: H2S, NH3, VOC's, water level, pH, pressure, oxygen, salinity, etc.

Our datalogger is basically sensor agnostic. That means it is compatible with most commercially available sensors.

How does the datalogger transmit data?


The datalogger, Consibio IoT Connector, communicates via either LTE M1, NB-IoT, or Wi-Fi. LTE M1 and NB-IoT are robust and reliable technologies and with the integrated antenna and sim-card, the datalogger continuously chooses between the network providers with best coverage. This way we provide a secure and robust connection in remote locations and under ground.

Is the data transmission secure?


Yes. We take security very seriously. The data transmission from the dataloggers are always encrypted via a TLS-encrypted COAP communication. On customer request we can switch the communication protocol to MQTT or similar for easy integration to existing systems.
